Buying a car in Nissan Altabrisa was a real torture... why? Let me explain the whole story. Me and my husband bought a car from them in September. Wasn't the new one - someone was using it for 2 years, but was in a good condition - except seats and bodywork. Anyway - at that time it wasn't a big problem for us, cause the car dealer (Mrs. CARMEN - I recommend everyone to stay away from here as much as is possible - I will tell you why later) said that the car is going to be painted, they are going to clean and exchange damaged seats, and so on... As she promised car supposed to look like a new one after next 2 weeks. So we signed the contract and we paid in advance - cause that was the main condition to get that car from there. What happened next? After 2 weeks car wasn't ready yet and our Mrs. Carmen went to California. Thank God she was in touch with us via WhatsApp. So everyday we were texting with her and asking about the car. She sent to us many voice messages, telling that the car will be done soon, that must be painted, that the seats are almost ready and so on.
Finally one day she informed us that we can pick up the car from Merida. So we went there. And here we got really disappointed - car was waiting for us for at least one week, wasn't painted, seats looked like a disaster. Mrs. Carmen stopped picking up phones from us and at Nissan office no one knew what's going on with that car. We went to manager to claim what happened. Unfortunately we couldn't get our money back from them. To help us - manager promised that she will send our car to paint it in Cancun. So we took that car with us, and... WE ARE STILL WAITING. Time flies and they still didn't fix nothing (it will be 2 months soon since we bought that car). Last week when we called them to check it - manager just told us that "they didn't get any authorisation, and that's is".
Authorisation from who? From the president of Mexico or what? How much time can take you guys there to fix the mistake of your representative?
Do I recommend Nissan Altabrisa service? Definitely no. But I'm still giving them a chance to solve that issue. And hopefully then I will able to say something good about that place, cause at the moment is not possible.
